Dave Gilmer is a Shareholder in our Missoula Office and is a member of the firm's Tax Committee.

A graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's in Accountancy, Dave has been with JCCS since 1998. He is involved in various not-for-profit organizations such as the St. Patrick Hospital Foundation and the Montana Radio Reading Service. He also serves on the board of a local mining corporation.

Although Dave has experience in audit, review and compilation engagements, his primary area of focus is federal and state taxation of individuals, partnerships, LLC's and S-corporations. Along with working with companies in a variety of industries, he also works with numerous estates and trusts. His prior work experience includes working for a publicly traded company in the ski and resort industry.

The most enjoyable part of working with his clients is becoming their trusted advisor and friend. "Knowing that they will call me before signing any business deals or when they've had their first child gives me a feeling of pride and joy."
