Joe Shevlin is a Shareholder in our Helena office and past member of the JCCS Board of Directors. He is also a registered representative with 1st Global Capital Corp.

Following graduation from the University of Montana and service in the military, Joe has spent over 35 years working in public accounting. He has extensive experience with income tax preparation and supervision. Joe especially enjoys estate planning and business consulting and is often called upon for litigation support testimony.

Currently he is member of the tax division of the AICPA and a very active member of the Legislative Committee of the Montana Society of CPA's. He is Past President and Board Member of the MSCPA and a charter member of the University of Montana Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi.

Around the Helena community, Joe is a member and Past President of the Downtown Helena Kiwanis Club, member and Treasurer of the Helena Knights of Columbus Council 844, Board Member of Shodair Children's Hospital and Foundation. He is also a member of Board of Directors of Valley Bank of Helena and member of the Accounting and Finance Advisory Committee, School of Business Administration at the University of Montana, as well as a participant in many charitable fund raising events in the Helena area.

Past activities include Catholic Social Services of Montana member and President of Board of Directors, St. Peter's Hospital Foundation Board member, Helena Diocese Finance Advisory member and Chairman, Helena High School Booster Club President, MOA and USSF soccer referee, Scout leader and a graduate of Chamber of Commerce Leadership Helena.
