JCCS Annual Firm Picnic

The firm picnic was held August 14, 2009, at Memorial Park in Helena. We had an excellent location in the area between the waterpark and the playground with close-by parking. There was a good and representative crowd despite the unseasonal weather.
The caterers spent all morning cooking and the pig looked fantastic. Served on rolls with a special sauce, it was delicious. In addition to the barbecue main course, a delightful variety of salads and desserts were brought by employees. There was no room left on the serving table.
Rocky did an awesome job of organizing the picnic. With the weather not looking good, she ordered a tent and the Helena people put it up in time for the crowd. Additionally, picnic tables and chairs were all set up.
The new water park was awesome, and the air house (bounce house) was a hit with the little ones. Games for all included water balloons and a piñata. It was fun to see all the new babies.
The rain eventually came around 2:30. The hard core picnickers continued under the tent until a strong summer thunderstorm hit. Then, the tent and everything was quickly stowed away.
