Tax professional Andrea Simmerman also knows well the ins and outs of owning a business. For eight years she owned and operated a CPA firm providing tax preparation services in addition to financial statement preparation and payroll. Andrea merged her practice with JCCS in 2013.

Tax planning has become more important than ever. With the constant changes within the tax code, the team at JCCS works hard to educate ourselves on all tax matters. Andrea considers it her goal to assist with good decisions today to avoid surprises and to fully utilize the opportunities within the tax code for our clients.

Andrea takes that seriously and therefore reports she regularly hears clients say, “I am so glad I talked to you before making this decision!” Communication is key to enable JCCS to provide the best service to our clients – and Andrea wants her clients to be comfortable asking any question, even if they believe they know the answer.

Andrea and her husband moved to the Bitterroot Valley in 1998. With three young and extremely social children, they love to “glamp” in their travel trailer and as the kids get older are working toward family backpacking trips.
