Bob Heffernan loves a good challenge. That’s one of the primary reasons that – even after 38 years in the business – he continues to enjoy the ever-changing accounting profession and the increasingly complex specialty of tax law.
Bob focuses primarily on estate and fiduciary planning and tax compliance solutions for both individuals and small businesses. These specific areas of expertise are particularly gratifying for him since the solutions he is able to provide typically produce valuable results for clients in compliance environments that are often intricate and misunderstood. Bob also has diverse experience with charitable and planned giving arrangements. During his tenure with JCCS Bob has had the pleasure of helping to plan for charitable legacies that will benefit local communities for generations to come.
Building meaningful and lasting relationships with clients supports Bob’s understanding of how they do business along with any unique challenges they might face. This emphasis on building relationships allows Bob and his JCCS team members to match their areas of expertise with specific client challenges and to bring beneficial clarity to any decisions that must be made. This depth of understanding also helps illuminate a client’s own definition of success and helps each one structure systems that better capture the information necessary to evaluate and attain that level of success.
As a native Montanan, raised and educated in Missoula, Bob now enjoys living in the incomparable Flathead Valley, spending time with family and friends and serving his community, and his church, where is an elder. Bob also serves on the board of directors of Lighthouse Christian Home and Services.
