- Qualified 401(k) Administrator – 2004
In her 20-plus years of experience in the retirement plan administration field, Bonnie Forbes has focused on plan compliance, which includes educating the plan’s sponsors and their staffs on what their responsibilities are compared to the roles of the third-party administrator and the financial advisor or fund company.
The minutia and customization options involved in crafting and implementing employee retirement plans is huge and challenging. But Bonnie is a born cheesehead who approaches her profession the same way Vince Lombardi approached football: “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”
Bonnie’s passion for helping clients keep their plans in compliance is empowered by her own extensive experience combined with that of the entire JCCS Employee Benefits group. For example, a client was out of compliance with filings of its Form 5500s. Coming new to JCCS, Bonnie and the JCCS team reviewed, prepared and filed four years of returns for two plans and then helped the client create and stick to a process for timely filings in the future.
Bonnie is a Wisconsin native who relocated to Great Falls in 2015 to be closer to her dad, who lives in Helena. Bonnie loves traveling (Scotland, Alaska), reading, nature photography and of course watching her Green Bay Packers.
