“I thoroughly enjoy taking money from the government and placing it in the hands of my clients-legally-through tax planning and implementation both short and long term.”
Mel likes to keep the lines of communication open and working with clients to not be afraid to call on anything, in the tax area or any other. He is a sounding board to bounce client’s ideas off of. If they call before we can keep the amount going to our third partner, the taxing authorities, in any transaction to a minimum. There will be no charge for a question unless it requires research to give a reasonable answer. If a charge could be incurred because of research the client will notified with an estimate of the cost. Our vast amount of resources makes it easier to develop the answer in the least amount of time, which is money.
If a client calls after the transaction has been completed, it may be difficult to develop the best scenario for all parties.
Mel was raised in Montana and then worked in Montana and around the US in CPA firms and flying airplanes. After spending 25 years in the high country of Arizona he returned to his Montana roots.
His interests include flying airplanes, including a number of hours flying numerous war birds including B-17, WWII heavy bomber. He has been a licensed pilot for around 50 years and has owned his current airplane over 30 years. Woodworking has been his most recent vice during the construction of the family home in Victor.
