Standalone health care and professional building services are focus industries

JCCS is expanding its offerings to include outsourced accounting and advisory services for specialty industries. The firm’s Client Advisory Services (CAS) service line will now include standalone health care and professional building services in its roster of client types.

“Many of our clients already operate in these industries, so our team understands the nuances and challenges these business leaders face. With a focus on supporting businesses in these industries, we can offer our unique expertise and partnership model to more clients,” said Alanna Weibert, Client Advisory Services Director at JCCS.

Standalone health care businesses include dentists, orthodontists, therapists, chiropractors, and doctors whose practices aren’t affiliated with a large health care system.

Standalone professional building services include architects, landscape architects, engineers, drafters, and specialty building services such as lighting or home automation system specialists.

In their work with clients, JCCS acts as a part-time, outsourced accounting partner. An expert team may work with a business to strengthen its financial foundation by refining processes such as accounting and payroll. When a solid foundation is built, JCCS supports businesses in making important financial decisions.

“Clients come to us in a variety of ways. Some need work building their foundations before the advising starts. Others may have a good foundation and they’re ready for that next step where budgeting, key performance indicators tracking, and more come in – that’s where we step in with the advisory component. And for some clients, we do all of the above. It depends on where they are and where they’re looking to go,” said Weibert.

The JCCS CAS team is certified in Lean Six Sigma, a process that improves quality management by streamlining processes, reducing waste, and enhancing quality. The team uses Fathom, an accounting forecasting software that produces actionable financial insights.
