The health and safety of our employees, clients and communities is very important to us.

As a result, we are taking active steps to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19.

As of March 16, 2020, we are suspending our non-essential client meetings. An essential client meeting would be one where there is an impending deadline that can’t be extended and a face to face meeting is required to complete the work. We have both secure e-mail and a client portal available for our clients to both gather and deliver financial information and tax information and returns. Many JCCS clients already regularly utilize these secure technologies. If you need access, please reach out to your JCCS client representative by calling our office numbers listed below or directly e-mailing them and they will be happy to assist you. Currently, you are still able to drop off information or pick up tax returns at your local office.

Many of our employees will be working remotely.

We have suspended all business travel and requested our employees to restrict their personal travel. We will be limiting our in-person, firm meetings.

Within our offices, we are following the health guidelines and best practices provided by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and local health officials to help prevent the spread not only of coronavirus, but of other seasonal illness as well.

We will continue to closely monitor the information and guidance provided by these organizations and stand ready to implement any additional guidance provided to ensure the safety of our clients and employees.

Based on recent communication from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), it does look like we can expect an extension to the April 15th deadline for tax returns.

You can be confident that we will continue to be able to serve you in this time of crisis as a result of our IT infrastructure and training provided to all our employees.
