If you need to know how to bake sourdough bread from scratch, improve your Olympic lifting technique or learn the virtues of utilizing vSAN technology in your next data center, look no further. A native of Bigfork and an avid CrossFit athlete, Dan Lee’s love of computers, fitness and cooking make for an interesting mix of knowledge, strengths and skills.
After a career as a classically trained French chef, Dan embarked on a journey that has resulted in being an industry-taught IT professional. With nearly 15 years of learning and experience, Dan has become an expert in building software-defined data centers and virtualizing IT infrastructures.
Dan’s passion for excellence and desire to hold himself to a higher standard is empowered by his extensive experience in a broad range of technologies, including Microsoft systems, Brocade fiber channel systems, VMware server software and end-user support. This past year, Dan was tasked with implementing an instant messaging system for internal use. Using Ubuntu and open-source chat server software, he successfully deployed a zero-cost solution for the firm.
