It isn’t unusual for JCCS clients with an interest in farming or ranching operations and related markets – or the always-changing Montana weather, for that matter – to find themselves deep in conversation with Dan Konen of our Small Business Advisory Services team. It’s an easy and valued conversation for Dan: he grew up on his family’s farm/ranch in Fairfield, Montana, and today he augments his career experience in the accounting profession by staying up-to-date on everything ranching, from Black Angus calving techniques to the latest research on crop rotation and climate change.

With more than three decades as a well-respected accountant, Dan has seen many changes, including an increase in the need for specialized services relating to the personal and business financial success of clients. To anticipate and meet those needs, Dan and the JCCS team stay focused on building strong, long-term relationships with clients. He strives always to provide top-level services that enhance the financial decision-making, the financial futures, of his individual and business clients.

Dan balances that passion with – Black Angus cattle aside – a desire is to improve his golf game, a pursuit he finds equally relaxing and frustrating on any given weekend.
