Kristal is a Montana farm girl, born and raised in Fort Benton (Carter to be exact). With the work ethic learned from farming she has gained experience in banking, office management, bookkeeping, and other finance and management areas. She also owned and operated a private business for over 10 years, in addition to working for a non-profit organization for five of those years. In May 2018, she finished the additional undergraduate business and accounting classes to obtain her CPA license.

Kristal enjoys helping clients see the purpose behind the numbers, creating better informed decisions. Communicating and interacting with the client is her favorite part of auditing. She loves the growth and development, for her and the client, that comes from this natural approach to client interaction and support. As any coach knows, a successful team requires multiple players with skillsets that, when combined with their teammates’ abilities, make them unstoppable. Having the team at JCCS is much the same and is great resource for Kristal and her clients as it allows for an effective approach to problem solving and meeting goals.

Kristal’s first love is photography of pretty much anything, but currently of her three crazy boys. She also coaches youth basketball and enjoys the progress seen throughout the season. Kristal and her husband enjoy camping and discovering “small town Montana”.
