Consistent throughout her 25-some years as an accounting professional, Teri Moser believes that educating herself and her clients is a high priority. She takes professional development so seriously that she not only shares her love of learning with her JCCS colleagues, but also with her fellow professionals statewide. She has proudly served as an active member of the Montana Society of CPAs professional development committee; receiving the outstanding committee chair award in 2015. With extensive experience in providing tax, accounting, payroll and bookkeeping services, she has a well-rounded perspective in helping clients with a wide variety of needs. She especially enjoys working with small businesses and treats them like part of her family.

Teri believes the reason it is so great to work with a firm of this size is that there are so many resources. In this fast-paced world, it is impossible for one person to know everything. By working closely with other JCCS advisors, she helps her clients stay ahead of the game. For example, after a long-time business client experienced a change in management, she met extensively with the new owners and JCCS staff bookkeepers and together they introduced the client to a cloud-based accounting system that its staff could access daily rather than receiving financial data once a year at tax time. This move eliminated the file shuffle, while creating the opportunity to make decisions using the most current information.

When it’s time to recharge her batteries, Teri enjoys traveling, photography, reading, gardening and music. Ask her how she met her Norwegian husband and imported him to the U.S., it’s a good story. And, she is quite proud of her two children.
