Thomas’s path to accounting has taken him from Georgia to Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, before landing in Montana, a place that quickly became home. He earned his Master of Professional Accountancy at Montana State University Bozeman and entered public accounting with a focus on auditing, drawn to the work because he enjoys understanding businesses at a detailed level and using his education to provide real assurance around them.

Thomas has built a strong foundation through work in governmental audits, forecasting models, and financial statement evaluation, but the focus in his work is communication. Building real relationships, not just transactional ones, is what allows problems to surface early instead of growing into bigger ones. That approach reflects the beliefs Thomas brings to every engagement: thinking exponentially to spot what others might miss, acting proactively rather than reactively, and growing professionally so he can keep raising the bar for the people he works with, clients and colleagues alike.

Outside the office, Thomas is usually planning his next trip into the backcountry. An Eagle Scout, he’s hiked the Appalachian Trail and spends his free time backpacking and fishing across Montana with his fiancé and golden retriever.
